Hi Pat,

The Pelican pulks are okay but not very sturdy. They are cheap and work well for cross-country tours, but maybe not for true expeditions. I guess the Paris pulks are more sturdy for expedition use.

What are those Pelican pulks like?

Have you got any photos of them in use? It’s pretty hard to get pulks in Australia and I’m sick of using the orange paris ones and home-made.

I had an accident in the beginning of the race, so the map log book shows an ambulance transport to the hospital in Kirkenes! I will update with more info soon.

Yes, the map will be updated during the Varanger Arctic Kite Enduro, via the GPS in my mobile phone. There should be cell phone coverage during the race, at least in some places. You can therefore follow team Sarek Tatra on the map.
